WFHSS sterilization guidelines recommend testing medical sealers at the beginning of the day after heating. Based on the initial test and the result obtained, the device can be used for the rest of the day.
The SealCheckIT from Gandus Saldatrici is a test system for the daily verification of the closing system and for the Operational Qualification (OQ) according to the EN ISO 11607.2 standard.
How does it work?
Place the Seal CheckIT inside the medical pouch, between the two layers of the bag on the side where the sealing is to be done.
Carry out the welding.
The quality of the sealing obtained will be highlighted on the black stripe.
The same is able to display the following problems that may be encountered on the heat sealer:
- Sealing temperature too low
- Sealing pressure too low
- Sealing interruption
